Another week, another grocery trip report.
It seems that just when we were running low on cereal Copps and CVS both had good sales, hence we stocked up and got 10 boxes. My husband eats a lot of cereal...
We also have some good dinner basics already stocked up so this week I was able to put our money towards more non-food items.
There was also a promo running on some cleaning products which I took advantage of. I realize I've been buying quite a bit of cleaners, and body wash/shampoo/etc. type of items lately, but before you start thinking I'm really stinky and mt house is dirty I'm not getting them for myself-my church congregation is collecting various household & personal hygiene supplies to donate for humanitarian aid and I'm trying to put my couponing skills to good use. One of the reasons why I love couponing is because I can get so much stuff for so cheap (or often free) and it allows me to be much more generous than I could have been if I was limited to just donating monetary funds as charitable contributions.
I also found some great clearance deals on Loreal eye shadow, eye liner and mascara at CVS, which I was able to get at 95% off with some good coupons I had (The eyeliner was orginally $8.49 and I got it for 12 cents!) .
Here's how it all stacked up this week:
The General Mills cereal promo also including 2 catalina coupons for a free gallon of milk on my next visit!

Total before sales and coupons: $292.78
I paid: $43.93 (85% Savings)
I can also mail my receipt for the DiGornio Flatbread Melts away for a "try-me-free" offer I have to get $3.19 back (the originaly price on the receipt).
We've still got some money left in the weekly budget to spend this weekend when we go check out the local farmers markets, which I'm really excited about!
How did you all do this week? Leave me a comment!
